About Us
Redenta's Garden was founded in 1992 by Ruth Kinler. Our philosophy is to provide the gardener with a pleasant retail shopping experience and, to that end, we staff our stores with knowledgeable, helpful people.
We carry a full line of perennials (over 200 varieties in season), herbs (over 100 varieties in season), old roses (over 300 varieties in season), and selected native trees and shrubs. We pride ourselves on being 100% organic, carrying no chemical fertilizers or pesticides, and provide a full line of organic gardening supplies and education.
We also search the world for unique gift items, stone and statuary with a gardening theme. Our landscape department was created to both design/ install and maintain our gardeners' landscapes. We use only organic materials and methods in all landscape work. Redenta's is named after Ruth's aunt who is a nun in a convent in Siena, Italy.
